I share this artwork of mine in honor of my friends and family members who have served with me in the military.  I wish to honor and remember all of those who have sacrificed for our country and their families.  I created this piece a year after 9/11, and it aided me in reflecting on my 9 years of service, the service of my friends, and the 9/11 tragedy we have all encountered.  May we stand together as citizens and remember all the sacrifices that has been made for all of us!  May we take responsibility to live lives that honor those who have gone before us so we can set an example for our children and those who come after us.  Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That’s the most sensible way to serve God. Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him. -Romans 12:1-2 (CEV)
