Here is a view of some of the wonderfully fun sculpture at the MYOPIA exhibition of Mark Mothersbaugh at the Akron Art museum this summer.

‘Wall Drawing #1240’ was created especially by Sol LeWitt, one of today’s leading artists. The wall is where the museum’s old Building and the new Knight Building interconnect.  The triangular shapes refer to the angled supports and folded forms of the glass and steel lobby, while the blocks of color echo the brick wall removed from the old south  Building.  Two drafters, assisted by six area artists, worked for five weeks to fabricate the wall drawing.

We enjoyed the seeing the red wolf at the Akron zoo.
